The Via Francigena and the Way of Santiago de Compostela met through the presentation of the magazine "Via Francigena" which is the publication of the European editorial Francigene.

The event was held in the Salon of Pazo de Raxoi, the prestigious hall of the Municipality of Santiago, where the Mayor Xosè Antonio Bugallo and numerous Spanish authorities welcomed the Italian delegation, headed by Chairman Massimo Tedeschi.
The ceremony was a significant moment to share the importance of the Cultural Routes Council of Europe, which constitute a valuable and tangible commitment to the future for a democratic constitution of Europe that must be based in the past culture and on the historical heritage and values handed down from history.
The magazine, "Via Francigena" has become the protagonist in all its beauty and ability to express values related to the Way, and has received great appreciation for content appearance and quality. In addition all'editoriale the Mayor of Santiago, which presents the history of the Spanish city, is reserved space in the exhibition "Rome-Santiago, Santiago R oma," made recently by Professor Paul Caucci Von Saucken, one of the leading experts on routes compostellani .
This and much more within a particular edition that we invite you to read, in which the editor has slightly renewed its editorial profile giving greater space to the voices of modern pilgrims and their testimonies travel.
