Vigo to Pontevedra in one day (not through Redondela)

Hi, I looked on Google Maps for walking options between Vigo and Pontevedra, and it’s not giving the Puente de Rande as an option. If you look at the street view of the bridge, there is no sidewalk for pedestrians, so there is no possibility of walking across. Looks like you have to go around, via Redondela. Jill
