Walking backwards on the Camino?

Hi folks. Have any of you walked back to where you started once you reached Santiago or Finisterre? Meaning walking two caminos, one going and one coming back the way you came?

Just curious!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

i haven't done it but each time i walked i met somebody doing it so it can be done
seems kind of lonely though

Every day I saw two or three people going the other way, all walking solo. You would be constantly walking in the opposite direction to everyone else and have very little opportunity for talking with others along the way (except at the albergues); I think that, if I wanted a walk like that, I would probably choose a less popular route rather than be constantly battling against the flow.

Last year I met a lovely gentleman who started in Seville and was walking to Lourdes... Loooooooooong journey.

Anyway, I read the "walking backwards" thing as physically walking backwards! Silly me!
