Good morning,

In a little more than a month I will be making my way back to the Camino for the fourth time. This time I'm thinking about the possibility of serving in an albergue. I know a lot of albergues are closed in winter. How would I go about finding out if any of the open albergues need any volunteers at this time of year?

I'm particularly interested along the CF since this is where I'm familiar. My Spanish is functional. I'm far from fluent in Spanish, but I am certainly functional.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Amy

A friend who regularly walks winter caminos told me that it's the time of year when there are more prospective hospitalieros than there are places for them.
