Yesrerday I saw something incredible for this time of the year, a helicopter with a water bucket, going to put out a fire! This is normal in summer and autumn but not now. If it doesn't rain soon we are going to have a shortage of water in summer; either that or a very wet spring :?

En Asturias hasta el domingo pasado casi no había llovido y no había nieve en las montañas. El lunes pasado los ríos estaban casi desbordados y ahora hay un mtro y medio de nieve en las montañas.

In Asturias until last Sunday there was almost no rain and no snow in the mountains. Last Monday the rivers were overflowing and there are now nearly five feet of snow in the mountains.

Yesterday several fireplanes flew near to the Camino de Invierno. The fire was quite large, This is the latest from La Voz de Galicia. http://bit.ly/xRPgP4 .There is now an active fire watch programme.
