Wooden Walking Pole

Any idea where I might buy one in Oviedo? (Where I will begin my next Camino in May of this year.)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I use two trekking poles these days. But in the past I have bought an ordinary wooden broom handle from a ferreteria or China bazaar. Put a rubber walking stick ferrule at one end and tied my spare bootlaces as a wrist loop through the hanging hole at the other. Works well and very cheap. And you are unlikely to have it taken by mistake from the rack by the albergue door

PS: Rubbing some Vaseline or olive oil into the wood will improve the look of the thing!

I love the idea of a broomstick staff! Given how many have been produced over the years, I would imagine the design has been perfected by now!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
