Worst weather on the Lana

walking every day for the rest of my life
With wondering about walking the Lana in winter I thought I’d track the weather there this December/January - just for interest’s sake.
Can anyone suggest which places would be potential trouble spots or is it all pretty innocuous? Are there any equivalents to the Madrid’s Fuenfria pass or something similar? Is anywhere likely to get snow?

I don´t know Camino de la Lana, but I can tell you that there is a weather forecast with more rain than usual for this January with the rain fronts coming from Galicia/Portugal and normal temperaturas (not too cold). In that situation normally the front gets to SE weakened.
But who knows, I remember 2 or 3 winters ago a lot of villages in the mountains of Alicante isolated by the snow for more than a week. Anyway I don´t think this January will be the same because the western front.

I will be starting La Lana from Burgos next month and camping the entire way, may be cold but certainly not as wet as the winters here in the north. I'm starting out in Cantabria so have to pass over the mountains first before reaching Burgos, I'll start a thread to cover the trip when I set off. There will likely be snow when higher up in the mountains but you can never know for sure with the crazy weather nowadays.
