Via de la Plata from Sevilla to Salamanca
Time of past OR future Camino
Planned: Via de la Plata: Salamanca to Santiago
Hello I am new here,

My travel companion has to cancel his pilgrim route Via de la Plata as from Sevilla due to health reasons. As everything is planned, the day trips and acomodation, I still want to walk from Sevilla to Salamanca (1 rest day in Mérida and 1 rest day in Caceres). I start walking on 26th of April.

I walk 3,5 to 4,5 km /hour, and take also time to admire the nature.

Feel free to join for walking on one of those daytrips.

Have a great Walk..!! 🌺🌺🌸🌸

Buen Camino @choque2001 - if you have time, visit Italica at Santiponce - on the first day out from Seville. The Roman ruins are amazing and so worth the visit.

Cheers - Jenny
Thanks for your advice. I have planned to visit it on Sunday 24th, so I can continue my trip directly to Guillena. (I stay 3 days in Sevilla before starting Via de la Plata.

How are you trooping along yourself with ‘Spot’? I hope you haven’t had mud to contend with. Where are you now ?

Buen camino.

Hi dearest Annie and Alan -
I’m in Monasterio … yep! There’s been mud but not the sticky kind - phew - criminales and boscadores (so said the sign in one of the national park sections before El Real de la Jara), large farm dogs who I wish would ignore this scaredy-cat pilgrim but it’s all so very beautiful. I wasn’t prepared for the beauty of the landscape each day. The Camino provides.
Much love -
