- First one Frances 1999 (from Burgos), since then...over 100 in Galicia, Portugal, Basque....
Might be a good idea to keep in mind for your planning that Semana Santa 2011 (Easter Holy Week) falls on April 17-24th http://gospain.about.com/od/semanasantaeaster/a/santa_dates.htm. On those dates, Santiago de Compostela will probably be pretty busy.
