Shipping luggage from SJPP, to Casa Ivar?
Easy? Costly (cheaper than Taxi + Shipping)?
Location?
Thanx in advance!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
I think you may need to wait until you hit Spain to mail it to Ivar with Correos. @ivar may respond here. You can also ship with Express Bouricott to Santiago.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
The best option from SJPdP is Express Bourricot. At €70 to send one suitcase it may seem a little expensive, but it's actually cheaper than transferring the luggage every day until Pamplona and mailing it from there, and much less hassle.

It's also super convenient. You just go to Express Bourricot's office, fill out a form, pay the fee, and let them know where you will be spending the night. In the morning simply leave your bag at your accommodation and Express Bourricot will pick it up.

In Santiago it is held at the Loop Inn hotel which has 24/7 reception, so you can pick up your luggage at your convenience. They also offer a discount on a room for those who use Express Bourricot.

Well, at least you are wasting no time with your questions to the forum 😂. Here‘s what the website of French mail, commonly known as La Poste, wants to know from you:

kg?
standard? If yes, length, width, height?
voluminous?
tube?

Best of luck and Buen Camino ☺️.

@ivar has said that there have been problems/delays with items sent to him through the French post, hence my recommendation of Express Bourricot.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Use DPD, they are experts in international parcel shipments. Package 10-20 kg costs EUR 32

And when you look up the DPD website you see that their partner in France is called Chronopost.

And when you enter the postcode for Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the website you see a list of places in SJPP where you can drop off your parcel. One of them is the Post Office in SJPP.

The others are various shops including a Carrefour supermarket but in this case I think you need to have your parcel wrapped up, registered online and with the proper address labels glued onto it - after first having printed out these required labels of course.

I'd go with @trecile's recommendation and Express Bouricot.

And since this is a thread from a year ago: @gregorypaul, what did you choose in the end? Were you happy with your decision on how to ship your luggage from SJPP to Santiago and with the cost?
