Getting from biarritz airport to Irun

Hi,
We are flying to biarritz tomorrow. I tried to book bus tickets to get from biarritz airport to Irun but cant seem to do this? Does anyone know can we just get the bus from the airport ( line 3 I think) and pay on board?or other reccomendations?

It is a regular local bus service - you just pay the driver as you get on. You will have to change buses at Hendaye railway station or just walk the short distance across the river into Irun.

If you have a couple of extra days for your Camino you can walk from Biarritz! It's two fairly easy walking days before you have to tackle the hills after Irun.

I walked down the hill from the airport to Biarritz train station, caught a train to Hendaye and the shuttle across the border to Irun.

It’s an easy walk from the Hendaye train station into Irun.
