Packing with memories- A Camino Shell

Time of past OR future Camino
Several alone and with children
Packing, 40 minutes from departure... I'm adding my Camino Shell to my pack. It has grown over the years. Shell, a silver shell that was a Christmas gift from my same son who made my cutting board (this shell was from the Christmas when we finished the Camino together, the board a year later but from the tree of that previous year). This attached video is an image of the how my son melted the metal and put it in a mold from a shell he found on the Camino. In this image he is making one for our dear friend who we met on the Camino and we sent it to Barcelona! My fish was mentioned before and bought it Portugal and the cross is a recent thrift store find.
He finds these metals and saved them to melt. The mold and the silver shell were a huge surprise to us as he made us each one for Christmas 2016.

Here's the link to the video on how he made it:

Shefollowsshells,
Thank you for this precious story.
May you and your daughter share another wonder-filled camino.
