My version of Caldo Gallego today. Ham (no unto available), beans, potato, onions, collards.
I don' t have unto in Madrid either but it doesn't matter I prefer ham and olive oil extra instead. It seems that the grelo harvest in Galicia this year is very bad because weather but I have them from Alcampo sometimes. There is some production in Madrid.

Oh my goodness! Alcampo! - context! I remember hearing some in the community (1994) telling me they were going 'al campo'. Due to my limited knowledge, I believed they were heading out of town...

Oh sorry. I thought it was known on the Forum.
You have no need to apologise. I was simply explaining that context illuminates!
The English language expression is ' a little knowledge is a dangerous thing'.
I did not know that Alcampo was a hypermercado!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I confused with Decathlon ( poles) that is also a French hyper.

And I thought you were saying they were going camping on the outskirts of town.

Yes, I read the grelo harvest is not bountiful this year. I saw several good looking fields of them a couple of weeks ago when on the Camino, but can't get them here in the US now that I am back.
