Via de la Plata late April

Una

Member
:D I would love to hear from anyone planning to start in Seville in late April. I have booked my flight to Seville (Ryanair from Dublin!) for 23rd April and have booked in to Triana Backpackers for that night. I hope to start walking on 24th or 25th. I am also interested in any news from the Via de la Plata from people who have recently walked it or are on it at present. :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hi Una, there is a special forum here voor the Via de la Plata. You posted this in Camino Mozárabe (Granada - Mérida). I will be a few days behind you, starting from Sevilla on the 28th of April!
Thanks for putting me right, Luka. No doubt you will catch up with me! I am also relieved that I am not on the Mozarbe as I was reading about all the rivers that had to be crossed and about people getting lost several times. I am likely to get lost even where there are no difficulties. Una :D

Hi Una I’m starting from Seville on April 21st… going slowly! I shall see you on the way. Mad gear thinking going on at moment! I did walk it two years ago and it was warm so hoping the same this year. Great walk……. According to gronze the albergues municipal appear open with other reasonable priced hostels too.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
