Yes thank you. I was expecting a big write up in the local news but it was relegated to the back. No obvious damage.Gee - I hope all was well when you woke properly and checked Doug. It must be a worry at times living in these zones.
ANZ as a whole gets lots of earthquakes but they are rarer around Tamiki Makaurau Auckland. I have also lived in Wellington as @VNwalking alluded to, earthquakes are much more common there.
It is still raining here, although lightly at the moment and my garden is waterlogged and I have been forced to pick my tomatoes so that they don't burst with all the water they are getting. I am giving them away to my neighbours and the local Salvation Army food bank. My courgettes are definitely not liking all this water. About the only thing that is loving it is my Blueberries and I need to harvest them.
