Yes that isthe arroz de marisco
A pity we aren't in Portugal anymore
We are on the way back home somewhere 100 kms east of Paris in France
But coincidentally just an hour ago bought all ingredients at a supermarket to prepare an arroz de marisco tomorrow on the camping we are staying now
What is your original language ?
I have the recipe in Portuguese
The kind I prepare is not with a sauce but it is a rice like you use for for example risotto or paella. A rice which stays wet.
First take a big pan ,put a little olive oik in and fry some chipped onions and garlic for about one minute or so
Keep one content of rice and two contents of water ready for two of us we have one
Add the rice, let it fry for half a minute and than add the water and a block of broth.
Let it boil in the mean time keeping the rice moving from the bottom al the time with a spoon so it does not burn on the bottom
After about 5 minutes add the mussels, clams, prawns ,parsley etc and wait until the rice is done.when allmost all water has been vaporised and the rice is done it is ready to eat directly. Keep aware that you keep stirting the rice on the bottom all the time !
In a flat pan put some olive oil. Fry some onion and garlic and add fresh spinach to it untill the spinach becomes soft. Add some salt and pepper and serve it togethet with the arroz marisco
Delicious .
Easy to make
Just experiment .
The first time my portugese teacher teached us how to make it and now we found our own way to do it.
I prefer it with clams and mussels rather than shrimps
