I really loved this church, received my first pilgrim's blessing here on the Sunday night. Unfortunately their large organ was not being played that night. The decorations behind the altar really have to be seen first hand to truly appreciate them. I understand that the church is 12th century, but Brierley talks about "embellishments" being done in the 16/17/18th centuries.
