Unfortunately your question was cut off a bit short...
It will depend what time you arrive in Burgos of course, but the Rome2Rio site shows available trains leaving Burgos on 25 April to Madrid at 3:25pm and 5:16pm, taking about 2:40 to get to Madrid-Chamartin Station. You can change there to get to the airport (leaves every 30 min).

I gather you need to get to Madrid, train or bus will get you there, Bus station just over the river, a short walk from the cathedral square. Buses are cheap, fast and comfortable.
I took a train the other direction, from Madrid to Burgos, it stopped so often it took all afternoon. The bus is likely faster.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

We took the Alsa bus from Burgos to Madrid. It stopped at the airport, T4, on the way into the city. Check the schedules, as not all buses stop at the airport. The bus is comfortable, convenient and inexpensive. The bus station a short walk from the city gate.

Indeed there is for instance one at 3 pm arriving at airport at 5.30 pm and another one at 6 arriving 8.30
Price pp 19 or 27 €.

A low budget but decent choice of hotel near the airport would be one from the Ibis chain.

This is the website for ALSA buses. There are two overnight buses from Burgos to Madrid airport, terminal 4; one at 03:45, arriving 06:15 (€26.90, direct) and another at 04:15, arriving 06:45. (€19.01, one stop,) I advise booking in advance, it's very simple.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
