I was privileged to see the film in pre-release and was moved and delighted by it, even in small format on the telly. Dan Mullins' singing just adds to the delight of this story. I cannot wait to see it on the big screen at the Adelaide launch...
I never walk with earplugs. I love to hear and listen to all the sounds and noise around me, and all the birdsong❤️ But most of all because I love the silence, and to "listen" to my own thoughts. I recommend walking without anything on my ears👍😊
Thank you, and apologies: I realise I phrased my previous post rather badly - of course you still benefit from a Camino, regardless of where you sleep or eat. I think I was trying to say something about being left in peace to walk as one wishes...
Thank you for sharing this story. It makes one grateful for anonymity. And I agree @SabsP there is no reason to doubt their sincerity. Whether 'royals' or 'commoners' - my impression from people I've met walking and while living on a camino...
Yes! I hope they can walk without being bothered or pursued. I'm sorry they have to miss out on communal Pilgrim meals and albergue life, but I hope they benefit from the Pilgrimage.
I agree. I would not wear them myself, at all. But, I will not judge those who do, although I believe it IS a bit sad for them (which is perhaps a form of judgement, sorry).
Having to press that button for water in the shower at the same time as waving my hand to make the light turn back on. All part of the fun. Grateful to be finished and having a shower and a bed
