Sleeping in St Jean Pied de Port tonight! Everything heard about Camino magic has been true: from first moments in Lyon to arrival here yesterday, we have met nothing but positive, helpful, welcoming interactions with France and French people. So wonderful to discover that I can still speak French well enough for conversation and solving sim card woes (merci Samia in the Orange boutique près de la gare à Lyon!).
