Has anyone used the “ The official guide of the Via Francigena from the Great St. Bernard Pass to Rome” and the. Navigation app offered by the European Association of the Via Francigena Ways (EAVF)?
We are planning on walking the Caminos Vadiniense and Salvador this fall. Are the trails well marked or should we bring along a GPS as a back up? If so, we have an old Garmin GPS map 76CSx but it only has North American maps loaded. What map set would you recommend for Spain (Europe). Thank...

Hello Michael:
I will be walking with my wife. Where did you obtain your maps.....wikilocs? How was the signage between Fuente de and Portilla de la Reina?
Thank you
Barry

Cheers
Barry

Looks like we have to delay our walk until mid September. Thank you for all the good advice and we will definitely heed local advice!

Hello:
I'm planning on walking the Caminos Salvador and Vadiniense this April. Will I encounter snow? Should I wait for the end of April or May?
Thank you
