I was told today in Sarria that I needed to get stamps from specific churches along the way to Santiago. Previously I understood it was any two stamps one of which was from the alburgue I would be staying at. Can someone clear this up for me? Thanks a bunch.
Recommend the road the entire way. There are pilgrim signs along the road that take you into the woods. Don’t take them and stay completely on the road. BC
Came in to St Jean today from PNA on the 10am bus. Made an advance reservation on GoEuro website. All good. Others arrived on the later 2 o’clock bus. Should have no problems
Ok I missed the last bus from PNA to St Jean. I had a Goeuro bus ticket I bought in advance for today the 9th. Can I use this ticket tomorrow the 10th or do I make a new reservation?
Folks, will be trekking from the 11th to the 21st of Sept. Suggestions for outerwear. Right now bringing long sleeve shirts and a sweatshirt with hoodie. Do I need something warmer?
In the wise pilgrim guide I have it shows a fork in the path just after Sahagun. The green route goes right to Cazadilla, the left is the official route to Bercianos. Both trails converge later towards Mansilla. The green route is supposed to be more scenic. Can anyone who has passed this way...
Friends of Camino: Do we need to carry clothespins and a travel clothesline? Or are there plenty of places to hang clothes after washing. I'm running out of space in my backpack!
I see that people are recommending liners instead of carrying a sleeping bag. The liners come in cotten and polyester. Can anyone make a recommendation as to which is preferable. Thanks
