E9 coastal path
Hi Alan we were on the caminodelnorte till last week. We often met and walked on E9 route, which is also walked by local people. Camino del Norte the one for me
We started from Bilbao for timing issue, but heard from other piligrims that the first segment it is hard, often up and down...but it seems that it is a must. Urgent question about skipping etapas
If you catch the FEVE Train be aware that trainstop are discretionary, so you have to push the bottom otherwise the train does not stop. We had same problem, not enough time, we decided to escape some in country etapa, but we walked all alone the coast. Buen Camino...- danielefumagalli60

Camino Norte Bilbao!
Don't know if you have al ready decided. It depends on how long you will stay there. We started from Bilbao, after sightseeing we went to Portugalete and go.
