Hi! When I hiked this route last fall I would make my accommodation arrangements as I walked, on the day before I planned to arrive. Never more than 2 days in advance. That worked out fine for me…there was only one day that I had difficulty...
I had absolutely no problem finding accommodation. I primarily used Sandy Brown's guide and then some once or twice Booking.com when I wanted a nicer more private stay.
