There is another very recent thread discussing the Via Kunig section in Leon ie route from San Martin/Villadangos to Ponferrada. (nb a reservoir cut the route directly to Villafranca)...

May I ask, did you join the Via Kunig before Villafranca? I have seen a web-page listing stops from San Martin del Camino to Villafranca del Bierzo, via Porqueros. I was wondering if that section is waymarked.
