Thank you for reading and commenting. I live in a beach time as well but never ever tire of being on the water. I was surprised though how much of the coastal route actually was not on the coast. :D
Ditto what people are saying about the complementary route along the river- take it! Also, I really like O Porriño. It’s a humble but enjoyable town with friendly locals and some nice bars and restaurants.
Echoing what everyone else has said: there's a lovely "Camino Complementario" to get in to O Porriño. We walked it a few days ago! (I was also apprehensive about this stretch but it wasn't at all like I'd feared.)
As @trecile said there is an alternate route around O Porriño and along the river. It’s quite pleasant. Walk from Valenca and make O Porriño your overnight stop. Your next day up to Redondela is then a very reasonable distance. There are several...
I'm walking the Ingles for the first time in a couple months and plan to walk the same amount of days and stops as andonius above, other than stopping in Bruma instead of Meson do Vento on day 3.
There are two starting points for the Ingles, where do you plan to start from? You would be quite hard pushed to do it in three days from Ferrol, it's typically more like five days. You could do it in three days if you start from A Coruña, but...
