    Raincoat-Poncho

regarding the size thing: yes, it appears they may have change cut, because following what I had read here I bought the S/M size for both my husband (1,76) and I (1,70). It was ok as long as rain did not come together with wind which uplifted his poncho a bit and let his knees bare. When the...

We had started from Ambasmestas so we had the climb to O Cebreiro and we experienced all kind of weather including snow, hail and wind storms, and above all lots of rain. So I wanted...

(French) First timers : Easter 2010

Thanks Arn for your input. :D Indeed I'm still wondering about the weight issue (will have a go at packing as soon as our gaiters and other missing items are here), yet I suppose the fact that we won't be taking any sleeping bags and the like (since we'll be sleeping in hostals) leads me to...

    Renfe offers during Holy Year

Well, that seems interesting. :D Do you have any information about the time when these offers will be available ? I'm going to book our renfe tickets from irun to ponferrada, and would be curious to know if they would qualify for such offers.

    Raincoat-Poncho

Me too ! :D and I couldn't help noticing that a great number of the Google Earth pictures one can see when "following" the Camino online (which I did this weekend in order to give my husband an outlook of our route) featured pilgrims who were wearing blue, strikingly Altus-like things

    Womenly Problems..?

I just read that and had to join: any sort of menstrual cups (such as Mooncups, Ladycups,... whatever brand you choose) will do : reusable, no waste, more hygienic and more dependable. There's a chance you won't even want to use anything else once home

Bath towels provided in double rooms ?

Thanks spursfan, but as we will be walking just before Easter, I reckon we won't be able to rely on the sun to dry us  So well, let's see. I could ask on the phone when booking, I suppose (just another Spanish sentence to prepare in advance  )

    Class of 2010

    Overcrowding in the Holy Year?

Just my luck. :| I would have expected the possibly really bad weather to dampen these youngsters' enthusiasm  Well, we'll see. The good side of their taking the bus a lot, is that the way in itself will in fact be less crowded
