IIRC the longest I ever walked was about 38 km. I did it in 9 hours which incl maybe 1 hr of breaks. totally flat ground. Walked it I did but boy-oh-boy was I tired afterwards 😩

Scary. My heart goes out to pilgrims with a fear of falling off bridges because there are no security barriers on either side of the Roman bridge. I know because I've walked on it.
