    e-SIM phone number

Just been reading all the replies. Looking forward to a world where our numbers could travel with us. Last time I travelled, I purchased a SIM card in Spain. Worked perfectly but was very nearly disastrous because I couldn’t readily remember my Apple ID 😂 My carrier here in Australia recommended...

SIM card and place to purchase

I’m going to try out an esim while I’m over there. I believe i can have more than one on my phone if the French one doesn’t work in Spain. Not completely sure of the logistics yet but sounds a lot easier than buying a SIM card and then having to remember by Apple ID to replace it. Your phone...

8 days in, thoughts on gear

Thanks for your insights. I took an alternate pair of insoles for my hiking shoes last time. Sill had my favourite ones but good to change it up occasionally for feet and leg muscles.

Have you tried one of those Velcro seatbelt covers? Always take a pair with me when I hike. Can get fancy sheepskin ones.

    I'm so discouraged!

We’re all different and have different needs. I did lots of preventative taping every day. Toes, heels and balls of feet worked for me. I also wore Injinji sock liners to minimise the risk of blisters between my toes. Zero blisters

For coffee addicts that like to walk early

Finding the right Coffee was a bit of a struggle for me on the Camino. I like my coffee strong and black. I did have a fellow pilgrim suggest that Spain has a different coffee culture to Australia. I was served some good coffee. I was served some not so good coffee. I was served some great...

Camino Day 1 From Sjdp. A Bit Scared !!!

Thanks so much. I am leaning towards the flight to Paris and then trains to St Jean. Jet lag doesn't sound fun at all. Any tips for lessening the impact or is it just something we have to deal with? Cheers Janny
