Hi I'll be in Porto for a couple of days and then will take the bus to Barcelos or Ponte de Lima and walk from there. Where should I get a credential from? If I get one from Porto cathedral but don't actually walk from there is that OK? Also I have a 2016 Brierley guide. Is it worth taking or...- Jude Douglas

Sleeping bag for Camino Portugese?
Hi...still undecided about this as I haven't booked accommodation. Was planning to just walk and book either the day before or on arrival. Is it likely that I will only find accommodation with no blankets? (I have a liner) Also walking poles - yes or no? Best place to get themy in Porto? Thanks!- Jude Douglas

Kia ora and greetings, I'm. a kiwi woman in my early 60s planning to walk solo (but hoping to meet others) from Porto leaving around March 18th.
