What are peoples thoughts on bedding? Do I bring my light sleeping bag or leave it behind and use the bedding provided? My concern is bedbugs. I start el Norte tomorrow but can leave my bag with a friend.
Any suggestions on where to get on and off the train to avoid walking through Bilbao? I not crazy about city walking. I’m in Bilbao now getting over jet lag and enjoying the town and will soon start out from Irun.
Thank you very much for this information. I start Camino on the 1st and really this first stop is the only thing I’m a little bit stressed about. I would prefer to have my first day shorter and start off easy. I feel better now knowing it’s probable that I’ll get a bed.
