    Thank you so much! This is so helpful. Looks like they have a lot of seats available on Saturday so hopefully there will be room for my bike. I have read other ways of getting to SJPDP and they seem like a good way for me to get lost and loose a lot of time.

    Pilgrims in June.

    I am flying in to Bilbao on the 10th and most likely will be starting on the 12th of June. Its my fist and also solo camino. I will be on my bicycle but probably pushing it along the first day. Hope to see some of you. Buen Camino!

    First Lesson Learned.....

    I am flying British air line and they do not have a charge for bringing bikes on the plane. You have to package it properly and turn it in with luggage. I will be wrapping it in a plastic bag. I fly out this Thursday and will try to let you know how that goes.

    Thank you, I will be bringing my bike so the fit should be good and this one month of training has gotten me used to the saddle. The climb is the fear.

    First Lesson Learned.....

    So now after reading this forum I am freaking out a little bit since I leave for the Camino in 9 days. I started training 3 1/2 weeks ago but once I looked at the incline, I realized that I am not prepared for this. I'm not in the best of shape and lack of training is a little frightening.

    WestKirsty are you doing the North part of the camino? I will be flying in to Bilbao June 9th, trying to decided if I should spend a day there sight seeing. Im also wondering if I should do the North rout since Im already in that area or go ahead and start at SJPDP. Buen Camino!

    I will be flying in to Bilbao on June 9th. I hope to spend the day there and later find my way to SJPDP. It is also my first camino but due to time restraint I will be cycling it. Maybe I will catch up to you guys and see you there.
