Hi Aliwalks I just walked from Ponferrada to Santiago in 9 days (started a Tuesday and arrived Wendesday next week). I'm 65 and not specially fit. Irisvold, no need to anchor the compactor bag. The whole idea of having a compactor bag, and then put clothes and stuff in smaller bags inside the compactor bag, is the prevent gear to become humid.
