Hi all!

I have posted on existing threads before but I wanted to put my Camino on the calendar so I am starting a new thread to do that!

I leave home on April 28, go through Iceland to Paris arriving on April 29, and grab a jet to Biarritz. I spend the night in Biarritz and, on April 30 I will bus to SJPP. I will spend the night in SJPP and hit the road early on May 1. I just sent off for my credential!

I am so excited!

Suzanne

Wow. Sounds just about like my trip last year. Through Iceland to Paris, right around the same dates too. 'Cept I stayed in Bayonne.

I sincerely hope you enjoy your Camino at least as much as I did.

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
I may look like a tourist too... Hum...
Suzanne, I have really enjoyed the idea of going, the planning and the purchasing everything I think I will need ( love retail therapy ). I feel that I am being lead to do this journey and my greatest wish is that at some point my eyes and heart are open enough to realize what I am supposed to see and experience. I hope at that time I will stop feeling like another tourist and feel like a true pilgrim on this great adventure. Maybe the idea is to not just be participating but become involved. I hope you have a great journey, Buen Camino. Stephen

As a mountain trekker (not done the Camino yet, starting end of April) I've read this article with interest since it deals for what is really important in a long trek: go light.
Cheers and all the best for you.

Thanks, Manu! I read the link and am pleased to say that I'm at about 80% of what was recommended. Who knows what the weather will be but hopefully I will be prepared. Sounds like you will be walking at the same time. Perhaps our paths will cross.
