Also, my son reminded me I could use ViewRanger. It's brilliant. You can download maps and create walking your route then just follow it when you're there.
Thank you. I was looking for something a bit more precise than Google map as it suggests several ways and maybe one is nicer than the others. The thread is great thanks.
