Civil Engineer & IT Mgr before retiring. 2 awesome adult kids. Hooked on reading this forum. Never done anything like a Camino or backpack since I was a kid. Not religious but interested in the history and views. Recovering introvert. Love all that I hear about the nice pilgrims and local cultures. Not sure I can walk this far. I often walk 4 miles around the neighborhood with small hills, and pack. I’m in ok shape, but previous back surgeries and often back issues. Lived in Northern California all my life. Looking forward to petting stray Camino cats, dogs, and wish I could pet the cows but read here that is not cool. i enjoy cooking and baking.
