List of Holidays or days of heavier use on CF

Thank you c Clearly. I searched Fiesta and am adding these to the thread in case it's handy to have in one place. Not sure how any of these affect accommodations or pilgrim traffic crowds. If anyone knows, please comment. This thread has some very good lists/links down a couple pages...

List of Holidays or days of heavier use on CF

Hello, Is there also a list on the forum or elsewhere for holidays that impact the numbers and accommodations on the CF? I could not find any by searching for "holidays" in the subject. I have pasted a long list below from a generic Spanish holiday site, but i only recall Easter, Feast of St...

    More Graphs?

Here's another cool graph from Bradypus's link above https://solviturambulando.es/en/daily-pilgrim-arrivals/ I had to follow a link or two, so adding this to save others the digging. This one is daily! If you enjoy this kind of data, go to the restless engineer Solvitur Ambulando site as...

    More Graphs?

Here's a snip from Trecile's link above. The site comes up slowly on my computer so I'll share here to save others the time. I'm assuming this is the pilgrims arriving in Santiago

    More Graphs?

Hi all, I'm enjoying nerding out on this information, and now I crave more. The graph Trecile has posted before (below) is super cool. It's the number of pilgrims leaving SJPdP by week from 2017. Does anyone have links to more data or graphs. 2022 and 2023 numbers from SJPdP would be cool to...

Trip Travel Medical Insurance Reviews - if you ever had a claim

I called my Blue Shield of Calif HMO people today. They say I'm covered for any medical emergencies including evacuation to hospital (but not back home). I was surprised. So maybe all I need is good trip insurance. Thank you all, i think this is a very educational thread with how your claims...

How much do You stretch each day?

I’m late 50s and seeing a podiatrist and physio for mysterious pain on back of my heals. It doesn’t hurt when I walk or after I walk. Just when heal touches the sheets in bed at night. Doesn’t hurt to touch it with my hands. Makes no sense. But that’s a topic for another forum. I’ve had...

How much do You stretch each day?

Hi all. How much and what kind of stretching do you do while on the Camino? (Or while your training for the Camino) I've searched and found a little advice for those with shin splints, but nothing routine. I'm assuming it's a bit important to get calves (the stretch where you stand against a...

    Snowfall

I thought something was wrong with my display! Haha. So true it seems to stop when i look for it. Glad to see my device is not having a problem. Central California here swings from about 32F in the mornin, to 65F in the afternoon. Much needed rain after Christmas.

Hello from Newbie - favorite podcasts, youtubes, etc.?

Wow, thank you all! Yes I can see the point of view that I should be careful to not get unrealistic expectations. Hmm might be too late. But I’ll keep that in mind.
