Poles & Backpack - to check or not to check...
I’ve stored my custom carbon very very expensive poles in my pack and carried them on since 2012. AND NOW THEY’RE GONE. Thanks to airport security at Santiago de Compostela on 07/272022 upon completing the Frances. With well over 3k km and still in prestige condition; I was heart broken. Either...- NewYorker

How common are hiking shorts on men
4 Camino’s with 2 convertible pants. Good quality and super light weight so the micro zippers are never felt and hardly noticeable. I start with pants during the morning chill; than zip off the legs for the sweltering heat. They zip over my shoes in less than a minute.- NewYorker
