At age 60 in 2007 I fell off a deck and I suffered a serious spinal cord injury. I was taken to Stanford Medical Center (CA) where they gave me a 10% chance I would ever walk again.
I walked my first Camino at age 70 to see if I could do it. My spouse was doubtful and I was a bit worried. I actually came out of it stronger. three years later I'm back for more.
Gonna be practicing my "Bom Caminho" in late spring after tax season is over.
