I had planned to visit Samos today but there was a thunder storm last night and it was raining sporadically this morning here in Sarria so I abandoned the idea. I do have a rain jacket but it became very clammy and uncomfortable with the high humidity. Ther- Vince Meegan

Mystified by this comment. I have attended Mass in Westminster Cathedral, Brompton Oratory and my local church many, many times and have seen shorts worn by men on most, if not all occasions. I live in Hove, on the south coast of England and haven't worn long trousers for at least five years. Only exception was at a funeral. Sometimes when the weather is cooler it gets commented on. I am quite impressed too. I am on the south coast in Hove -nearest airport is Gatwick - and Stansted is 'here be dragons' territory.😋 Even travelling from Heathrow would seem treacherous!
