Strava is a good one. I use for all my hikes at home and used it on the Camino too. It has a low draw on the phone battery and automatically pauses when you stop. Tracks distance, elevation, average pace, time, etc.
I’d also say if using an iPhone update the Medical Information section which is where most Emergency Departments would look. (Speaking as an ex-ED nurse )

Get a head lamp Aldi/Lidl sell them cheaply and means you’ve got light that you can direct without holding hit and blinding others on way to the facilities.
