I caught the bus back in September 2016. I can't tell you the bus company. But I am pretty sure it left around 9 from the bus station in Jaca. It is the same bus station I came in from Zaragoza and also left on a bus up to Somport in the afternoon. The bus went up to the new monastery, dropped...
I walked the end of September 2015 - Izco was open then. The hospitalero was in and out. It ended up completo with some people sleeping on mattresses on the dining room floor. There was alcohol available as well as tins of food to buy.

I flew into Madrid then caught the train to Zaragoza and a bus to Jaca. Late in the afternoon there was a bus to Somport from Jaca. Check to see if the bus up to Somport is running when you plan to be there.

I was at Canfranc Estación on 25th September. There was a celebration that night where there were a few speeches then lights and images were played all over the station. The moon came up over the mountains behind the station near the end of the light show. Magic.
