Camino Portugues Budget
We walked the CP (Porto to SDJP) last May and the CF and Norte in October. We found Portugal to be more budget friendly, averaging around 75 euros per day, staying in pensions and eating in local restaurants. Safe Camping and private rooms
We stayed at the campground past Matachinos last May. The campground was well attended and we did not have any security concerns at all, which could be said for the rest of our camino as well. Snorkeling on the Coastal Route
We walked the Littoral route in May. In the section between Porto and Aquadura ( then we turned inland), there were small beaches nestled between the rocky shoreline, and there were people surf fishing and spear fishing.
