Philosophical . . . Is salad a metaphor for the multicultural nature of the Camino?😉🤣
Salad is salad. In my youth it was a bundle of butterhead lettuce, a boiled egg sliced, a few slices of tomato, and some sliced ham. And vinegar. Maybe a few pickled onions. And salad cream. You tell me, what is it nowadays? There was no space for even the word metaphor in them days, dear poster! 🤣

We didn't know there was more thane one kind of lettuce, and it was half an egg, not even a whole one!😂

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I am not a fan of salads, but if you like vegetables please check out Sarasate vegetarian restaurant. The food is amazing and the proprietor is very nice. Even carnivores love the food there!
