Jane and Charlotte amaze friends and family when, in retirement, they decide to walk the Camino Frances. They are not particularly fit nor adventurous and both have health problems, but they do it! This illustrated book describes their unique adventure and how it impacted on them, both at the time , but also much later, after their return. They walked during Spain's unseasonably cold May of 2013 and, like most pilgrims, met wonderful people, saw beautiful sites and experienced challenging decisions. They were taken way outside their comfort zones, but found new comforts in simplicity and sisterhood. This is a gently amusing, easily readable book that will inform and, hopefully, inspire others to have the courage to do the unexpected.
