Every Camino or hike has it own different personality and feel. The Camino takes one out of one’s comfort zone. You have to want to step out of your box. If not keep doing the same thing within your own world.
Greetings Mdelag! Luarca is a beautiful little harbor town. The villages that follow all the way to Ribadeo are are very nice! We enjoyed a day off in Ribadeo. The two days after Ribadeo are long but getting to Tapia de Casariego makes it worth it. Also there is a Parador in Vilalba that is...
The last four years my wife and I have done the the CF, (twice) CP and last year, in the fall, we did the full Norte. This Camino was tougher. We are not spring chickens, she was pushing 63 and I turned 67 on the Norte. Get past the first 7 days and you can get through the Norte. It is so...

My wife and I just finished The Norte, Irùn to Santiago, last week. If you would like to see a day by day account of our Camino Norte, it is on Instagram, please search.....t_vela_aka_lb_pilgrim.
I can only say thanks to the Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen for the film that first educated me about the the Camino! Despite what some might say of its accuracy, it motivated my wife and I to do our first Frances from St. Jean In 2016. We just completed our fourth Camino, the Camino del Norte...
Hi all, I just joined the gronze.com site today and I can’t get the English translation to come up. Does anyone know how to switch it to English while in the site?
