Thank you for your answer. I have always booked tickets beforehand earlier. This time I will arrive in Madrid and stay overnight before going to Oviedo by train. So (thinking aloud) I could go to Chamartin station and buy the card and the ticket for the next day? Or do you know if there is a...
When you live in Oslo, you can visit this office: Confraternity of St. James, Huitfeldtsgt 11, Oslo. I am sure you will get some help there! Website www.pilegrim.no.
I was at the same place in September and was as shocked as you of this sight. But I have also a picture of the same cross from two years ago, then there was only a little pile of stones. Perhaps someone is cleaning up sometimes?

We had our first coffee at Huntto, after 6 km, and the next at Orisson:) Cafe con leche, of course. Loved it!
I have walked to Ronvevalles in one day twice, didn't see anything because of fog.. Perhaps I should try once more...

Thank you! Always good answers here :) Hopefully we get all our luggage so there will be no need for the shops. We are really looking forward to walking again!

On Monday 10th we are ready for the last stretch of the camino, from Astorga. Our flight schedule is rather tight with three stops. If the worst happens and some of the luggage is missing, will we find sports shops in Astorga to buy vital equipment?
