What happened to Forum member Alexwalker?

It seems the Camino and the fire brigade have something in common, I recently met up with some old colleagues and the first 30mins was a list of ailments and medications 🤦🏼‍♂️ for me it was shin splints, clicky left knee, sciatica, clicky right wrist, frozen shoulder and that was just the...

I am new, excited, and equally nervous.

Words are wonderful but I think @kirkie has highlighted one of the most important “YOUR” camino, everyone has advice and opinions but only you can decide. I planned so much and read lots of advice, guide books and journals that when I started on the Frances I knew I had the perfect plan laid out...

I stayed at Auberge Borda in September and I must say it was everything I hoped it would be, I found it a great way to enjoy those first couple of days and the host Laurent was fantastic so enjoy your Camino and take the time to breath it all in, buen camino

    Finally my 2nd camino

Train tickets booked and Gite Makila reserved, I start walking on 21st September and due to family circumstances I’m now going solo I will probably book my first few days in advance as I know accommodation is not fully open again as yet and beds are at a premium but after that I think I will...

    Class of 2021

I think September has the potential to be really busy this year, but I also think if it is possible to travel that with the added dimension that release from covid and lockdown will bring with it gives it the opportunity to be something special as like minded people indulge in a shared...
