Everything is booked and ready to go. Will be at SJPDP on Sept. 22nd for two weeks to Burgos. I believe that situation in Spain is getting better, although things can change at any moment. Hopefully, things will be fine.

Only thing they don't cover is the quarantine-related interruption expenses if the travel is less than 31 days...
God Bless!
Thank you for letting me know. I am sure it will be very different from French and Portuguese, and even from primitivo. Do you think sleeping bag is necessary?
Buen camino
I have flowin Air Transat to Paris few years ago, then took the train from Gare Montparnasse to Lourdes before going to St. Jean. It is easy to get to the train station in the city as there is a bus at the airport that takes you to the station. I haven't done it, but there are SNCF trains at...
There is Eucharistic Adoration at the church convento de Santa Clara in Carrion de los Condes. It seemed to me that it is perpetual, but could be wrong, but it was there both times that I have been there. It was one of the largest monstrance that I have ever seen.
Thank you.
I really don't know what to expect myself from this camino as I have never taken such a large number on any pilgrimage. Could be lots of fun and rewarding, but could be a nightmare too. But one thing for sure is that there are lots of people who wish to go on camino but don't have...
Thank you for letting me know about your opinion on a group walking the camino. Certainly we won't be doing anything that you described as reserving beds such way or any other public resting places. I have walked by myself and another time with few friends and no matter who we encounter, I...
And what is the group behaviour that you are concerned about? Personally, I have never encountered groups in albergue on previous two caminos, only on the road, so I don't know what that would be. Maybe I can talk to the group so that won't offend anyone.
Well, I am going with a group of 13 people from my parish on Portuguese way from Porto in May. I have booked most of the accommodation already through booking.com or by contacting albergues. I am hoping my group, which has a wide range of ages, won't be too much of bother for other pilgrims...
I am really excited to be leaving this Sunday to go back on the Camino starting from Burgos.
Hopefully this time my pack will be arriving with me in Madrid as last time it didn't arrive for a week. Thank you again for all those who supported me during my time of distress arriving empty-handed...
Hello everyone.
After all that I have arrived, Santiago de Compostela.
Primitivo was hard, but really beautiful and worth the effort that went into it.
Now off to three day walk to Finisterra tomorrow. Then back to Canada on the 8th..
Thank you for all the support you have given me in the...
Now in La Espina. There is no problem with getting beds even though I have found more people walking primitivo than I expected.
It is beautiful camino, though harder than last couple of weeks that I walked to Leon before going to Oviedo.
Thank you for suggestions and will certainly consider it.
