Hello, everyone.
I am walking part of the Camino de Santiago this coming week (Sept 8-13th). I am only doing part of it, the first part of the French Way (St Jean Pied de Port to Pamplona. I did the last part two years ago, Sarria to Santiago). I will hopefully do the other stages in the...

Hi Nonami! My friend and I hope to start from SJPP on 8th Sept, to Roncesvalles via Orisson. Our names our Sarah Geronimo and Zoe Brillantes. I do hope we can book a place in Orisson! If we need to change dates, I'll let you know. I see you're walking on the same day --- see you!!!
I am in the "rather overweight" category! I can imagine taking 12 hours or more. I guess I just have to start EARLY. There is something about starting in SJPP and crossing the Pyrenees that I have wanted to do since my first mini-Camino (Sarria to Santiago). If I start early enough and walk...
Shame, we will miss you by a day! We aim to start in SJPP and overnight in Orisson on the 9th. If I walk THAT slow, you may overtake me to Roncesvalles LOL
Thank you so much for this!!! On my first camino our days would start at 8am and end at 7pm not due to the length of walks, but the numerous cafes stops where we met so many people. (Plus a good excuse to rest....)
Hello, all, I'm looking to do my second mini-Camino around the 8th of September (SJPP to Puente dela Reina). Having done Sarria to Santiago a few years ago, I've always wanted to begin in SJPP, and do a little bit over the years to get my Camino "fix" every couple of years.
I am about to...
Hello, everyone!
I did my first mini-camino in April and although I have returned to London almost a month now, I know I have left my heart on the camino somewhere between Sarria and Santiago! I want to walk again!
Things I want to do differently:
1. I want to stay in "pilgrim" places. No...
Thanks for this, F Ashley! I have done Stage 8 (Sarria to Santiago) and now want to do Stage 1 but am not sure if I am fit to do the Pyrenees! How many hours does this video cover, ie how long did it take? Is there only one route for this? I've read a few accounts and it talks about steep...
Hahaha! I ate two of the three. The third dish I shared, as I was absolutely bursting! Didn't realise the portions were "main portions size"... thought I was in for tasters and got the whole lot. Lucky me.
Tploomis, I am the same about exercise. I thought about making a little chart in my room to help visualise how my Km's in the gym treadmill can translate to where I am on a "virtual" camino. It's not the same. But hey, it might help so I just might do it. That way, I hope to keep myself...
Marylynn! So grateful for this link! I am reading this during my work lunch break and had to stop reading because it's too intense and I want to savour it in privacy! Can't wait to get home! You are very lucky to have done multiple trips! Perhaps for us Camino alumni, it's not only BUEN...
Hi Angie! I walked from Sarria to Santiago in 5 days. I flew into Santiago from London Stansted, then took a bus from the airport to Lugo, then another bus to Sarria. I booked my accommodation in advance, which included breakfasts and dinners, for 585euros per person (2 people sharing a...
